Im getting "no active mixer devices available" when I click the volume control whilst following the sound Troubleshooter. It tells me to go to 'Printer and other Hardware' to install but Im unsuccessful here.
In device manager there are big yellow question marks and exclamation marks next to 'Multimedia Audio controller'.
When I go to 'Sounds and Audio devices' in the Control Panel everything is greyed out and it says under the 'Volume' tab "No audio device'.
I couldnt see a sound card when I opened up the pc. There must be an inbuilt one because the pc has worked for a year. i hope you can help me with this question or if there is someone outhere who can help me get this issue resolved. thanks
